Wholesale Used Clothing Supplier to Bolivia — Iquique, Arica, La Paz

Premium graded credential used clothing, mixed rags, and uncut wipers shipped from Houston to Bolivian importers via the Iquique–Arica–La Paz corridor. Container-load wholesale supply for Bolivian distributors and resale operators since 2006.

Why Bolivian importers choose US Dynamics

Bolivian importers face a unique logistics reality: landlocked geography routes most used clothing through Chilean ports — primarily Iquique (ZOFRI) and Arica — before crossing the border to La Paz, Santa Cruz, or Cochabamba. We have shipped to Bolivian buyers (direct and via Chilean intermediaries) for nearly 20 years and understand the corridor.

  • Corridor experience — Iquique/ZOFRI and Arica routing, paperwork that holds up at the Bolivian border.
  • Houston-based sorting — full quality control on US soil. No foreign re-aggregation.
  • Altitude- and climate-matched grades — La Paz and El Alto move cold-weather mixes; Santa Cruz moves tropical-weight. We adjust your container accordingly.
  • Direct or via intermediary — we ship to Bolivian importers directly and to Iquique-based forwarders who re-sell to Bolivia.
  • Consistent supply — weekly container availability.

What we ship to Bolivia

Bolivian markets show wide variation by region. We help you build the right mix for La Paz/El Alto (cold) versus Santa Cruz/Cochabamba (warm).

  • Credential used clothing bales — Cream, Grade A, B, and C. The Bolivian retail market favors mixed-grade containers with strong category sorting.
  • Mixed rags and credentials — high-volume option for re-sorters supplying La Cancha (Cochabamba) and El Alto market traders.
  • Seasonal balance — cold-weather inventory (jackets, sweaters, denim) for highland markets; lighter mixes for lowland Santa Cruz operators.

Iquique–Arica–Bolivia logistics

Two primary routing options for Bolivian-bound containers:

  • Via Iquique (ZOFRI) — container arrives at Zona Franca de Iquique, clears duty-free, then trucks to the Bolivian border (Pisiga/Tambo Quemado crossings). Common for buyers using ZOFRI re-sellers.
  • Via Arica — direct sea shipment to Arica (Chile’s northernmost port), then trucked along the Tambo Quemado route to La Paz. Shorter inland leg, often preferred for direct importers.

We coordinate with your local freight forwarder for the inland trucking leg, or can recommend reliable Arica/Iquique-based agents if you are new to this corridor.

Shipping logistics from Houston

  • Transit time: approximately 28–32 days Houston → Arica or Iquique, plus inland trucking (1–3 days to La Paz)
  • Order unit: 40-foot full container load (FCL) only
  • Terms: shipping handled — we coordinate the sea freight to the Chilean port. Inland trucking to Bolivia is typically arranged by your local forwarder or our recommended partner.
  • Documentation provided: commercial invoice, packing list, weight certificate, origin certificate, BL/MBL

Frequently asked questions — Bolivia

Do you ship to Bolivia directly, or only via Chile?

We ship the sea leg to Iquique or Arica. The inland leg to the Bolivian border and onward is handled by your local freight forwarder. We can recommend reliable partners if you do not have one.

What is your minimum order?

Full container load (FCL) only — typically a 40-foot container. We do not sell partial loads or LCL shipments.

Should I route via Iquique or Arica?

It depends on your buyer location and inland logistics. ZOFRI Iquique is dominant for the broader Andean trade; Arica is often shorter inland for buyers in La Paz. We work with you to pick the right port at quote time.

Can you adjust the grade mix for highland vs lowland markets?

Yes. Cold-weather mix (jackets, sweaters, fleece) performs better for La Paz, El Alto, and the altiplano. Lighter mixes work better for Santa Cruz and Cochabamba. Tell us your destination market and we build the container accordingly.

How long from order to arrival in La Paz?

Approximately 28–32 days for the sea leg Houston → Arica or Iquique, plus 1–3 days inland trucking. Total: roughly 30–35 days from container loading to your warehouse.

Can you provide documentation that holds up at the Bolivian border?

Every shipment includes commercial invoice, packing list, weight certificate, origin certificate, and BL/MBL. Bolivian customs and your inland forwarder use this documentation packet to clear the border crossing.
